I have a good deal of respect for Prof. Roberts but he’s somewhat off on both JFK and Nixon: Nixon was removed by both sides fighting an internal battle within the CIA: Nixon promised Mao to remove ALL US military presence from Asia, ceding influence there to Red China, by THE END OF HIS SECOND TERM IN OFFICE, which he never completed due being Watergated!
