A Tennessee school district has outlawed prayer on school property.
The principal at Broadview Elementary School, in Winchester, came under fire after he concluded a meeting with parents, teachers and students by mentioning God’s name.
“We pray to you, Father in Heaven, for your wonderful blessings and we ask those things in God’s name. Amen,” the principal prayed.
Someone in the meeting secretly taped the prayer and sent a copy to the Freedom From Religion Foundation – an anti-Christian group of atheists based in Wisconsin.
