A Mexican citizen was arrested for human smuggling in Texas after authorities observed a man carrying a child into the U.S. and located her a short time later.
The shocking incident unfolded on Friday near Del Rio, a city in Val Verde County.
Surveillance cameras captured a male suspect running near the Rio Grande with a young girl in his arms before she was loaded into a vehicle and whisked away.

A short time later, Texas Department of Public Safety (TxDPS) troopers pulled over a pickup truck believed to be carrying the child.
