The Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is planning to clear 420 acres of trees in a state forest in order to build a solar farm, according to a recent report.
A “top state official” confirmed the Michigan DNR’s plans to clear the acres of state forest for a solar farm to MLive.com.
The acres being cleared from the state forest are reportedly among the “4,000 acres of public land” throughout Michigan that will be leased in order to address decreased “revenues from hunting and fishing licenses,” as well as Michigan falling “behind building enough renewable energy.”
Leasing 4,000 acres of public land statewide is partof the DNR’s plan to help remedy both problems in coming years. Officials said that state solar initiative may begin just west of Gaylord.
DNR officials also reportedly “recently assessed 1,200 acres of public trust land in Otsego County near a major power transmission line to decide whether it was suitable for solar arrays,” according to the outlet.
The Daily Wire reported that Chris Martz, a meteorology student, had “published a chart showing nuclear power produces far more power on less land than solar and wind.” […]

Controlling Protein Is One of the Globalists’ Primary Goals
Between the globalists, corporate interests, and our own government, the food supply is being targeted from multiple angles. It isn’t just silly regulations and misguided subsidies driving natural foods away. Bird flu, sabotaged food processing plants, mysterious deaths of entire cattle herds, arson attacks, and an incessant push to make climate change the primary consideration for all things are combining for a perfect storm to exacerbate the ongoing food crisis.
The primary target is protein. Specifically, they’re going after beef as the environmental boogeyman. They want us eating vegetable-based proteins, lab-grown meat, or even bugs instead of anything that walked the pastures of America. This is why we launched a long-term storage prepper beef company that provides high-quality food that’s shelf-stable for up to 25-years.
At Prepper All-Naturals, we believe Americans should be eating real food today and into the future regardless of what the powers-that-be demand of us. We will never use lab-grown beef. We will never allow our cattle to be injected with mRNA vaccines. We will never bow to the draconian diktats of the climate change cult.
Visit Prepper All-Naturals and use promo code “veterans25” to get 25% off plus free shipping on Ribeye, NY Strip, Tenderloin, and other high-quality cuts of beef. It’s cooked sous vide, then freeze dried and packaged with no other ingredients, just beef. Stock up for the long haul today.
420 acres = 2/3 sq mile.
A typical fossil fuel turbine generates 1,000 MegWatts Hrs x 24hr x 365 days per year.
A 1 sq mile solar facility over a year generates the same energy(MWHrs) as 1/80 of that turbine.
Since this is only 2/3 sq mile then it will generate about 1/120 of a typical turbine.
So to replace just one turbine this 420 acre facility needs to be repeated 120 times.
And since a typical state uses the equivalent of about 45 of these 1,000MW turbines a grand total of
3,600 sq miles of solar will be needed. About 6% to 8% of the land area of the state.
Unless, all the cars go electric and oil and natural gas to heat homes is replaced with electric heat pumps
then triple that sq mile area. So that would mean about 15% to 20% even 25% of the land area of the state can’t have any trees or even grass. Maybe some moss. Plus all the extra land needed for power line trails to connect all these solar facilities so the electricity can go to everyone.
I live in Michigan. Aside from how stupid this whole thing is, and that it is totally anti- environmental, there is one thing that got my attention: …”decreased revenue from hunting and fishing licenses” Ive heard this statement before over and over for the last probably 20 years or more, but since covid, i have a really hard time believing this anymore. I see more people fishing (especially fishing) and hunting, than i have seen in my 45 years of existence. Its as if all of a sudden nobody works anymore. The boat launches are absolutely packed the last few years, and the hunting pressure is on the upswing again. No way they continue to have a decrease in revenue.
who’s pockets are getting greased for this boondoggle?
