Pro-life activists are clutching the pearls over commentary former President and current GOP nominee Donald Trump posted on Truth Social. Trump was sarcastically posting about the Democrat National Convention and their platform of abortion without restrictions, as well as the “Molech Mobile” they had parked outside of the United Center in Chicago over the four days of the DNC.
This is consummate trolling by Trump, and the people who understand his truthing/posting game get it. The usual suspects? It always has to be gasps, outrage, and explanations.
Frankly, it’s tiresome.
The argument is that the use of the term “reproductive rights” signals wanting broader access to abortion.
No, it does not. Just like the knee-jerk condemnation of Covington Catholic kid Nick Sandmann, they have it all wrong. As does Nancy French, wife of avowed Never Trumper and another “august” conservative, David French, who thinks that a categorically evil, pro-abortion Kamala Harris is a better choice than a horribly flawed Trump who engineered the greatest win for the pro-life movement during his four years in office than any of their chosen conservative presidents over the 50 years that Roe v.
