A gay adult film performer with a significant online following is facing backlash after expressing support for Donald Trump and speaking out against gender transitioning for children.
The 35-year-old performer from Palm Springs, CA, who goes by the name Devin Franco, has been active in the adult film industry since 2017 and has nearly half a million followers on X, according to Pink News. In recent days, Franco has become a target for criticism after engaging in political discourse during the week of the election where he voiced support for Trump.
In response to a post by a gay man who identified as a lifelong Democrat but rejected the party due to its “war-hungry censorship machine” and divisive identity politics, Franco replied, “100% agree!” His public support for Trump spurred further comments from users including his fans.
One fan remarked, “You were genuinely one of my favs so this feels like an actual betrayal,” to which Franco responded, “Well, that’s delusional because you don’t even know me. Get a grip. I have a different opinion. It’s this kind of attitude that red-pilled me.”
