Tech billionaire Elon Musk has become arguably the most prominent voice in support of free speech rights, not just in the U.S. but also abroad.
Musk has now called for the release from prison of Tommy Robinson, a purportedly “far right” activist in the U.K. who was imprisoned for speaking out against the rape of young children by migrant gangs, the U.K.’s Metro reported.
In doing so, Musk has simultaneously picked a fight against some of the U.K.’s leftist political leaders, including Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Safeguarding Minister Jess Phillips, who he believes should be in prison instead of Robinson.
Imprisoned for “telling the truth”
In multiple posts on New Year’s Day, Musk posted a variation of the message: “Free Tommy Robinson.”
He also shared a documentary that is banned in the U.K. and was created by Robinson that draws attention to the so-called “grooming gangs” of predominately adult migrant men who prey upon and sexually abuse young girls and boys. […]
