In light of safety concerns, Dan Campbell, the head coach of the Detroit Lions, has decided to relocate his family from their current residence in suburban Detroit. The decision comes after a series of harassment incidents at their home, prompting the family to sell their 2-acre property.
“The house itself is gorgeous,” Campbell remarked during an interview with Crain’s Detroit Business. “However, our address became public knowledge following a defeat which led to unwanted attention.” While Campbell refrained from detailing the incidents at his home, it was reported by FOX 2 in Detroit that the family fell victim to doxxing after a game against the Dallas Cowboys late in the 2023 season. This doxxing included their Bloomfield, Michigan home’s address being leaked online.
Subsequently, this breach of privacy saw pranksters sending unsolicited contractors to Campbell’s doorstep, adding to the harassment faced by the family post-loss in the NFC Championship Game. In response to these events, multiple police reports were filed with Bloomfield Township police.
