CNN political analyst Scott Jennings has warned that the political persecution of President Donald Trump is going to “massively backfire” on the Democrats.
Jennings believes Trump’s guilty verdict will seriously hurt Democrat President Joe Biden’s re-election chances in November, Breitbart reported .
The former Bush administration official made this prediction following Thursday’s verdict in New York.
A Manhattan jury delivered a guilty verdict for Trump on 34 charges in his “hush money” case.While many on the Left were celebrating , Jennings warned that it could increase support for Trump in the GOP.“Well, if my phone and the text messages I’m receiving are any indication, every Republican in the country is matter in a wet hen,” Jennings said.“I mean, people who are decidedly non-MAGA, not Trump fans, are blowing up tonight saying this case never should have been brought, this is ridiculous charges,” he added.
