Authorities have revealed that Matthew Livelsberger, 37, shot himself in the head moments before his Tesla Cybertruck exploded outside Trump Tower in Las Vegas.
“We do know who rented the truck, we are looking at that individual, but I am not prepared to release the name of any of the individuals that we are looking at,” Clark County Sheriff Kevin McMahill said on Wednesday.
Senior law enforcement sources confirmed to KOAA news outlet that Livelsberger was the driver of the Cybertruck used in the attack.
Sheriff Kevin McMahill confirmed on Thursday that Livelsberger’s body was so badly burned in the explosion that identification was only possible through his tattoos, Daily Mail reported.
