Biden may be out to lunch but the regime is in high gear and rolling out new moves to try and set policy and make it as difficult as possible for the incoming Trump administration to solve national problems.
The latest move involves H-1B foreign visas, used by tech companies and others to ‘insource’ and then ‘outsource’ labor, bringing foreign workers to America who work cheaply and then take those skills to China or replace American workers here. H-1B visas have been a sore point for a lot of Americans.
The Biden administration is setting policy on the way out the door.
The US Department of Homeland Security today announced a new, final H-1B rule aimed at streamlining the approvals process as well as other improvements.
“American businesses rely on the H-1B visa program for the recruitment of highly skilled talent, benefitting communities across the country,” Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas said in a statement. “These improvements to the program provide employers with greater flexibility to hire global talent, boost our economic competitiveness and allow highly skilled workers to continue to advance American innovation.”
