Among the witnesses were Jocelyn Nungaray’s mother, Alexis, and Rachel Morin’s mother, Patty. Also there to testify was crime victims’ advocate April Aguirre, who came loaded for bear as “the voice for 11-year-old Maria Gonzalez” who was “brutally raped and murdered by an illegal last year,” she noted on her Twitter/X feed.
At one point during the hearing, committee member Veronica Escobar (D-TX), who has been a shameless apologist for Harris on the issue of our porous southern border, declared that the witnesses were brought there to be “exploited” by Republicans. […]
