A Colombian male died after falling off the international border wall while attempting to enter the U.S. illegally, authorities say.
The incident unfolded in San Diego just before 6 a.m. on November 8.
A group of ‘migrants’ were observed by a National Guardsman monitoring surveillance cameras as they scaled the first of two barriers near the Otay Mesa Port of Entry, Customs and Border Protection (CBP) explained in a recent press release.
A Border Patrol agent arrived to the scene minutes later and saw two men atop the 30-foot metal fence.
